Magic Mind Review

Magic Mind is the first productivity drink infused with nootropics and adaptogens. Can it boost focus, reduce stress, and enhance clarity? Here’s what I discovered after using it for 30 days – all revealed in this thorough Magic Mind Review.

If you’ve ever seen Magic Mind as a product and a brand, I’d imagine you raised a brow and thought, ‘That’s different’. I certainly did. I’m so used to seeing little bottles of capsules with a white label and typical font, that I felt naturally drawn to this new, rather strange-looking cocktail in pre-made drink format.

This dinky, quirky little bottle headlines itself as ‘The First Mental Performance Shot‘, and delivers it in the form of a colorful, clean-looking green juice – it looks way more appealing than a cold, hard capsule and to be honest, the idea of a daily drink over another capsule or two to take each morning is very welcomed.

Immediately, I loved the name. I loved the look. I was hooked on the idea of taking ‘a shot’ of magic for my mental performance. Its weird little walking brain in its marketing reaffirmed to me that this product’s goals were exactly the same as mine.

I had to remind myself that it could just be the rose-tinted glasses of sensational marketing – I’ve certainly seen that before. But a quick glance at its 12 ‘magic ingredients’ confirmed I had every reason to be enthusiastic about this little number.

We’re going to take a full tour in this review of Magic Mind, from its background to its formula, what’s in it, how it tastes, how it works, and whether it really made a difference to my productivity during my testing.

Magic Mind: Quick Verdict

Magic Mind is a fantastic supplement. It’s a smart, punchy, matcha-based cognitive booster shot that increases productivity and a calm energy while reducing stress.

It tastes pleasant, and is packed with quality ingredients such as organic matcha green tea, ashwagandha, bacopa monnieri, rhodiola rosea, citicoline, turmeric, lion’s mane, cordyceps mushrooms, and some quality vitamins to boot.

It’s one-time cost of $4.95 per 2oz shot may seem expensive at first glance, but it truly works thanks to its robust formula that’s backed with solid research and testing. Plus a subscription will reduce the cost.

I love the theory. I love the formula. I love the branding. I can highly recommend Magic Mind – an innovative and enjoyable way to boost your mental ability.

What Is Magic Mind?

Magic Mind was founded in 2020 as a single product brand based out of Los Angeles. So they’re relatively new to the nootropics industry, but they’ve had some really strong sales and support with their nootropic ‘shot’ and are now considered one of the bigger players.

MAgic Mind Bottle

Although they have just the one product right now, perhaps they’ll expand and bring out other products in the same form in the future. But for now, I love that they’re pouring all their commitment and effort into this one little drink.

This beautifully green drink is a lightly sweetened matcha-based concoction of nootropics, adaptogens, and other herbal ingredients all set to give us a ‘sharper mind’, ‘lower stress’, and ‘better energy’. What it means by this is you’ll see improved focus and productivity without the negatives of coffee and energy drinks. These can often give us a more desperate, hard, jittery energy that often shortly follows with a destructive crash.

In contrast, Magic Mind attempts to offer many of the advantages of coffee but without the crashes. I know myself that the wrong kind of energy can make me feel stressed and pressured, which has a way of causing severe brain fog and mental fatigue for me.

Here though, each 2fl oz of this ready-to-drink formula contains 12 rather incredible ingredients for the brain to soak up and feed on.

We’ll look at these in a moment, but straight away I could tell we’d be off to a good start with the foundations of a good formula. They say you only need one of these little bottles a day, and as there is no information on dosages, I was very keen to see for myself if it would really make a difference.

I started out drinking one bottle per day for 30 days. Not a cheap test, but one that I hoped would proved productive.

Who Is The Magic Mind Productivity Drink For?

So who would really benefit from this drink? Well really, there aren’t many people who wouldn’t benefit from it. It’s likely anyone could have a shot of this in the morning and it certainly wouldn’t do them any harm thanks to its all-natural content.

However, I always recommend you speak with your doctor first if you take any medications or have any medical conditions that may have a negative interaction.

MagicMind benefits

Mostly though, Magic Mind could be a great product for anyone who is seeking that extra cognitive edge.

All professionals and students are the biggest consumers of nootropics. You’ll often find this kind of supplement in the desk drawers of CEOs or public speakers.

But it’s not just for suits. If your profession or lifestyle can be stressful and a calm state of focus and attention would help, then this kind of supplement is designed with you in mind.

Students are also regular nootropics users. They want to be able to remain focused for revision and exams, to store what they’ve learned, and recall that info when they need it.

It’s also a good option if you suffer with stress. I know I can sometimes, and it can be debilitating. When you’re stressed you stop thinking clearly, and enter a state similar to panic. You can’t hold information as well, you struggle to make sensible decisions, and eventually your brain becomes exhausted.

L-theanine is one of the ingredients in Magic Mind that deals with this, alongside the well-documented Ashwagandha.

This little energy blend has also been designed to accommodate most dietary restrictions and needs. It’s keto, vegan and vegetarian friendly, and is also free from nuts, gluten, and BPA. It also turns its back on artificial sweeteners, and instead uses organic agave to ensure you love the taste.

Magic Mind Benefits – How Does It Work?

This first productivity drink to hit the shelves has three goals in mind: enhanced cognitive function, calm energy, and less stress.

✔️ Enhanced Cognitive Function – for improved mental clarity and focus.

✔️ Calm Energy – for sustainable energy that stabilizes throughout the day, without that afternoon crash.

✔️ Less Stress – to manage stress levels for improved mental clarity, attention, decision making and wellbeing.

Next we’ll be looking at the ingredients that give us all these hugely beneficial advantages. But I also want to draw your attention to their their cutting-edge delivery system.

Their patented nano-encapsulation process means every ingredient will be absorbed faster, so that less is destroyed by the digestive system and more can get to work in our bodies and brains. After all, what good is a great list of ingredients if it doesn’t even reach its destination?

They also claim to have used fewer undissolved ingredients, which makes this drink easier on the stomach

Magic Mind Ingredients

Right, before we try Magic Mind, let’s head into its engine room – the formula.

pile of matcha powder

To start, there isn’t anything quite like matcha to kickstart our mental energy. This Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha is what gives us a natural source of caffeine minus the cranky feeling that’s followed with an energy slump.

This kind of Matcha is of the highest quality and includes a whole load of antioxidants that’ll give us stable energy levels and better focus.

The direct perks of caffeine are undisputed, and Magic Mind has leveraged the benefits of Organic Natural Caffeine. It supports a faster reaction speed and bolsters attention and focus without overstimulating your system, which is particularly beneficial if you usually have to deal with procrastination.

L-Theanine is like the green tea amino acid. Research found 200-400mg per day of L-Theanine could reduce stress and anxiety, even under stressful conditions. It may also boost cognitive function, verbal fluency, executive function, and attention.

The effects of caffeine and L-Theanine are intensified here in the form of Matcha Extract, which contributes to sustained energy and alertness, but with a sense of calm and improved cognitive performance.

ashwagandha adaptogenic plant

Organic Ashwagandha is a fantastic inclusion and always looks good on a smart cognition supplement. It’s a stress-reducing adaptogenic, and research suggests even a dose of 300mg or lower can effectively reduce anxiety and tension.

It’s often found in the best nootropics we’ve tested here at SOMA Analytics, and I was so glad to see it in this Magic Mind drink.

Bacopa Monnieri is a renowned nootropic herb that has been used for centuries for its support in cognitive function. Studies suggest a dose of around 300mg enhances accuracy in tasks and improves attention.

Citicoline, in its patented form of Cognizin®, enhances memory and other cognitive functions, and helps optimize brain function. In fact it’s one of the key contributors for one shot giving us noticeable cognitive boost.

Rhodiola Rosea gives us the perfect balance of an energy boost and stress reduction here, which is something we all need from any wellness routine. This powerful adaptogen is well-known for enhancing clarity and focus while reducing symptoms of stress and fatigue.

Lions Mane Mushroom growing in forest

Mushrooms are getting more and more attention these days for the positive impacts they can have on our mental ability. Lion’s Mane is perhaps the most highly respected in its field, and again it’s an ingredient you’ll often see in the best nootropics and mushroom coffees.

Studies suggest this mushroom type can improve the health of our brains, and boost our focus and memory.

This little nugget of health benefits gives us stronger immunity, and longer-lasting mental energy. Studies are still investigating its full impacts, but already it’s proving to make quite a difference in these areas.

Magic Mind’s vitamin and minerals complex holds some of the best going for cognitive enhancement and health. The Vitamin C in it supports immune health and enhances overall wellbeing, and ensures you’re powered and on-point with productivity.

Turmeric offers anti-inflammatory properties, especially Curcumin, which is a potent antioxidant that contributes to brain health and helps counteract the potential stress-related inflammatory response. It’s also perfect for post-exercise recovery.

Vitamin D3 is critically linked to mood regulation, and may contribute to an improved positive mood and general wellbeing.

This little drink also has Vitamin B3 (niacin), which aids in maintaining good cardiovascular health and brain function, enhancing overall wellness. This vitamin is crucial for the body’s energy supply mechanism.

We’re also given some Vitamin B2, which is crucial for energy production and known to support eye health. By helping convert food into energy, B2 plays a critical role in keeping your body energized.

Finally and essentially, we have Vitamin B12 (or cobalamin), which is an essential inclusion here. It helps maintain nerve function, make DNA, and is critically important for brain health and function.

Lastly, Organic Agave is what they’ve added as a natural sweetener. It’s a sap that forms a syrup and is 100% natural, and it doesn’t contain any additive or high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). A smart way to add a little something that’s sweet and good.

That’s a rather sensational collection of ingredients here – I’d much rather have a shot of this morning drink than a morning coffee. It’s all in there, though I don’t know how much of each, which is frustrating. Still, a decent bouquet of ingredients that can only do good collectively.

How Much Does Magic Mind Cost?

I guessed this supplement would be pricey, and it is. But is it an overpriced latte, or a worthy investment in your cognitive abilities?

Each 2-fluid-ounce shot of Magic Mind costs around $4.95 a bottle for a one-time purchase. So it’s clearly more expensive than a cup of coffee or a regular energy drink. Their subscription module can certainly make it more cost-effective though.

For example, if you subscribe monthly, it drops the cost to $3.25 per bottle ($97.50/month vs. $148.50 a month for a 30-bottle supply).

I’ve also managed to obtain a discount code for a whopping $40 off – just click on the link which will take you to their official site. You’re welcome.

Overall, we are looking at a premium price tag here. The reason being is that this is clearly a premium product. Yes, it’s more expensive than a coffee, but it offers a hell of a lot more in terms of quality ingredients, and healthier, more long-term and beneficial advantages to our cognition and brain health, and even our immunity.

Their refund policy is straightforward – if it’s your first order, they’ll refund you with no questions asked, though they do show interest in what went wrong for you, and encourage you to email the company’s customer care team so they can pass on feedback.

If you’re signed up to their subscription, you just need to ensure you do so before the payment is taken, or the order will be processed.

The Magic Mind Promise

Magic Mind are very confident in their formula and what it can do for the brain, and they offer an open door for anyone to take a look at their rigorous testing and analysis certifications. They confirm that every single batch is tested in a third-party lab, and that they only use the world’s best suppliers.

They even promise to go ‘above and beyond industry standards’ to ensure every single customer has a ‘brighter today and a more brilliant future.’

It really is quite refreshing and indeed commendable to see a company so confident and open with consumers.

My Experience With Magic Mind

I used Magic Mind as part of a 3 day test for SOMA Analytics. I’ve documented that in this video review for our YouTube channel that you can watch below:

Since recording that video, I’ve also taken a second 30 day delivery and used it again. That’s probably as a good a testament as you need – but I will elaborate.

First things first – let’s talk taste. While I wouldn’t say I ‘love’ the taste, I certainly don’t hate it. It has a subtle sweet with slight bitter taste that is actually quite pleasant to drink. I tend to drink it straight after breakfast and have experienced no negative side effects from this.

In terms of energy, I’ve used it as a replacement for my morning caffeinated drinks and then topped up with a tea or coffee later in the morning – although that’s more out of habit than necessity. The energy that I get from Magic Mind feels clean, long lasting and without a big crash to follow.

Although I don’t think the dose of ingredients is as high as some other nootropics on the market, it must be relatively high as I can definitely feel the positive effects of Lions Mane, Cordyceps, Choline and Ashwagandha. Focus in a calm way is how I’d describe it.

The only things I don’t like about Magic Mind are the cost and the amount of packaging. I guess that’s the cost of having something different, and if money is no object to you then it’s a great choice – although I would urge you to recycle the plastic bottles.

For the more money savvy among you, you can get similar results with the likes of Mind Vitality Focus for a fraction of the cost.

Magic Mind Verdict

There isn’t much negative you can say about Magic Mind. I can’t tell you how much I love their branding – it’s weird and cool and very different. The ‘shot’ method as opposed to capsules is also a welcome change to downing clunky capsules.

The taste itself is pleasant, and it looks good for you – you want to drink it and all its magical goodness.

Branding and little luxuries aside though, the ingredients packed into each of these little bottles are seriously high-end. They’ve all been carefully selected to successfully boost motivation and productivity, and effectively keep those stress levels down. It’s a standout in the productivity beverage and nootropic supplement market.

The price may seem high at first, but considering the quality and effectiveness of the ingredients, it’s a worthwhile investment. I’d pay it all day long for the benefits it gives me. Incorporate this trustworthy cognitive aid with a balanced diet and active lifestyle, and I’d go as far as saying you’ll see huge improvements in your mental and physical strengths and wellbeing.

Is it magic? Well I’m more of a science guy, though the science behind the formula speaks volumes.
