Discover the benefits of Brainol in this comprehensive Brainol review. Can its natural ingredients boost cognitive function, and enhance mental clarity?

Apparently, ‘only Brainol™ has it all‘. It calls itself ‘the ultimate brain food‘. Wow, those are some mega statements, especially considering the company it’s keeping.

There are some really very good nootropics out there. I use them most of the time, barring the occasional break. But I soon miss what they do for my cognition so I don’t stay off them for long.

There are also some pretty lousy supplements available, too. Some of them have the audacity to shout as loudly and as boldly as Brainol over here, only to be a complete waste of money. So naturally, I was keen to find out whether Brainol was really as good as it says it is.

I’ll be over the moon if it is that good. They’ve even put on their site that they are confident we ‘will not find a better brain boosting supplement on the market‘. I normally cringe at these kind of statements as they’re usually a far cry from reality. That being said, I remained unbiased, and gave it a go myself.

I’ve put together this Brainol review after testing it, so that you can decide if Brainol is a supplement worth investing in.

Brainol: Quick Verdict

Brainol is a dietary supplement that ticks all the boxes in terms of safety and assurance, with a money-back guarantee. They’ve included a number of quality ingredients, and minimized the amount of caffeine by using guarana.

You’ll need to commit to taking one tablet in the morning and one in the afternoon, with a meal, which is sometimes inconvenient, but I did get better at sticking to the routine – something you have to do to get the best results.

It’s not the cheapest and there are other options I prefer with stronger ingredient profiles at a better price point – namely Noocube and Mind Viatlity Focus.

What Is Brainol?

Brainol is what we call a nootropic. A smart drug made up of natural ingredients, which you can buy over the counter (well, online…) and is designed to enhance your mental energy and performance.

And it seems all the boxes have been ticked in terms of what a nootropic should look like. All its claims cover everything you’d want from a quality smart drug.

The safety aspect seems reassuring, too. The supplement has been designed by doctors who have used clinical data and scientific studies to be sure their formula is up to scratch. It’s also manufactured here in the US, with all ingredients tested and approved to be safe by the US Pharmacopeia–National Formulary (this is the most comprehensive source for medicine quality standards globally).

Brainol is also manufactured in a laboratory that’s GNP-certified and registered with the FDA.

Their shipping is fast (ships out the same day as it is ordered, although it takes a little longer to reach Canada customers), and packaged discreetly too, plus they offer a 100% money-back guarantee for 60 days.

Okay, so their website is a little old and dated – but it’s packed with information. And that’s way more important than glitzy marketing.

What Are The Benefits Of Brainol?

So what are we looking at here in terms of improvement? Not all nootropics are the same. Some simply load up on caffeine and a few natural numbers to go with it, and promise you a mental boost. That’s not really good enough, is it? Not when you can get the same effect from a cup of coffee.

When we invest our money into supplement – which, by the way, you’re going to have to commit to for a couple of months to get best results – then we want to see something different. Here’s what Brainol promises:

Higher Mental Performance – Achieve more by being able to work more efficiently.

Mental Clarity and Sharp Focus – Feel motived and alert, and more able to understand and respond to information faster.

Mental and Physical Energy – Have the energy to be productive at home, work, or in the gym.

Strengthened Brain Development – Stress is decreased, which helps protect the brain from oxidative stress and decline.

Better Memory – Learn more easily, retain information, and find it easier to recall.

These are all benefits I’d expect from the best nootropics. It covers everything here, and even covers ‘brain decline’ sensibly by emphasizing it’s reduced stress that will help, as opposed to some magic miracle.

Remember though, we’re yet to test to see if these benefits actually come to fruition when I test it out. Also remember that as individuals we may get different results. On that subject, always speak to your doctor before starting any new supplement, especially if you have a medical condition or are taking any medication.

Who Should Buy Brainol?

If it’s good, then anyone will benefit from it. Anyone who needs help focusing, or needs to be able to concentrate for longer or feel more motivated should consider taking nootropics.

Brainol doesn’t target anyone specifically. Their website looks old, and will probably be unappealing to the younger generation. It has images of wise-looking doctors on it, and plenty of text.

For me, I liked it, but that’s because I prefer information and facts when it comes to the supplements I’m taking. Colors and fancy imagery mean little to me, and mask a whole host of sins for some brands. I want the detail. Brainol do not ringfence any type of individual here – they welcome anyone who may need it.

Students are common users of nootropics, as are CEOs and public speakers. Maybe you’re in the construction industry, or you’re medical staff on long shifts. Maybe you’re a mom trying to cope with the enduring days and nights of parenting. Athletes use them too, for motivation and drive.

Whoever you are, so long as the ingredients work to enhance mental performance like a decent nootropic should, Brainol could be a good option.

Brainol Ingredients

This is where we find out whether all these promises are empty inside or genuine. There is no hiding behind an ingredients list. Unless, of course, it’s a proprietary blend (where manufacturers hide the dosages) – thankfully Brainol give us every bit of info we need. A fully transparent ingredients label – perfect.

We’ve got a couple of blends here, with a total of 20 individual ingredients, so I’ll keep it brief as many of them will have similar purposes.

Magnesium is really important to us. It’s a significant mineral we need for various things, but most importantly here we’re talking nerve transmission and how well our muscles function.

It regulates our neurotransmitters, which are what send messages through our brain and nervous system. In simple terms, if you’re low on magnesium, you’re more likely to suffer higher levels of anxiety and even notice a decline in your cognitive skills. As it helps create a relaxed mind, you’ll have less stress, and more room for cognitive skills to flourish.

We’ve got a number of B vitamins here – B6, B1, B2, B3 and B12, which are all essential for our neurological health and how much energy we can produce.

B6 is an important one. It regulates our mood, and contributes towards how much serotonin and dopamine we produce. This is important for nerve communication, and gives us mental energy.

B12 injections are a thing these days, as they help get rid of fatigue and lethargy, and even stress. We tend to produce less of this as we get older, but if we’re low on it research shows it could cause cognitive decline. Some studies have even shown improvements in focus and mental clarity for patients who were struggling with their memory (though always seek professional advice if you’re concerned).

B1 Thiamine is another important vitamin we often run low on even though it’s essential, as it produces the neurotransmitter acetylcholine and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). Without it, we may suffer detrimental neurological effects. B2 Riboflavin is also topped up here.

B3 Niacin is the final B addition, which when topped up can squish poor concentration, anxiety and irritability, lethargy, lack of motivation, or even depression.

St John’s Wort Extract is traditionally used for improving our mood. It’s not my favorite ingredient in a nootropic, as we need a lot more info on how effective it really is, and its safety.

At its most potent it’s used for mild symptoms of depression, but I’d want more clinical evidence to back it before I got excited about this one.

This the other complex here in Brainol, with 13 ingredients.

▫️ L-Tyrosine – Known to give us more mental energy, especially in older adults. It’s a great one for stress.

▫️ L-Glutamine HCL – An amino acid known for its brain health support.

▫️ L-Theanine – Here to provide a calm state of mind without causing drowsiness. This helps focus, and to make clear decisions without clouded or muddled judgement. It’s also good for anxiety.

▫️ Acetyl-L-Carnitine – A potent antioxidant that reduces fatigue, improves concentration, and helps recovery after exercise.

▫️ Phosphatidylserine Complex – Great for memory and reducing stress and anxiety. The FDA also approved it as an ingredient that may reduce the risk of dementia and cognitive dysfunction in the elderly.

▫️ Choline Bitartrate – Studies have shown this can deliver an improvement in symptoms of Alzheimer’s dementia, coordination of neurological symptoms, cognitive and emotional functions, activity, and mood in patients with cerebrovascular disease.

▫️ DMAE Bitartrate – Good for memory and recall, learning capacity with focus and concentration, and also overall cognitive mechanisms.

▫️ Brahmi – A herb that’s good for our memory, functioning, and concentration. Improves speed of processing visual information and learning rate, and reduces anxiety.

▫️ Guarana – This naturally contains a small amount of caffeine, and so is great for energy, motivation, and mood.

▫️ Alpha Lipoic Acid – Very good at neutralizing the damage caused by oxidative stress. Could guard against Alzheimer’s, though we need more studies on humans as opposed to animals about what it does for brain damage and decline.

▫️ Ginkgo Biloba – A very solid inclusion. It has antioxidant effects to protect from damage, and works to improve cerebral blood flow and neurotransmission. The effects include improved function and memory, processing speed and attention.

▫️ Huperzine A – A plant-based inhibitor to the breakdown of acetylchlorine, which results in improved cognition, memory, and behavior.

▫️ BioPerine – This is natural black pepper extract but patented to 95% Piperine, so that all the ingredients are absorbed more easily by at least 30%, rather than destroyed by the digestive system before they can get to work.

That’s a decent formula there. A couple that seem a little pointless or silly, like the St John’s Wort. The guarana seems a little pointless – a less potent version of caffeine that’s still no good to those who want to avoid it.

But that’s me being picky. Overall, it’s a good selection.

Does Brainol Have Side Effects?

Given its natural ingredients, Brainol is generally seen as safe. But that’s if we were all exactly the same, which we are not.

We all have different tolerances, thresholds, allergies, etc. If you’ve got a medical condition or already taking medication, talk to your doctor first about it in case there’s anything in the list that doesn’t agree with your needs.

I should mention that Brainol doesn’t smell too great. That’s not really a side effect, I know – but it could cause problems for you if you’re easily put off.

Overall, no severe side effects have been reported on extensively. We’re generally talking mild symptoms of bloating or an upset stomach. This is quite common if you’re new to nootropics, so don’t worry too much – but keep a very close eye on it, and stop immediately if you’re concerned.

How to Use Brainol

2 capsules a day. One in the morning, one in the afternoon, with a meal.

Pricing and Value

Brainol isn’t cheap (there’s a but, so don’t run off…). However, there are usually good deals on to make it good value and fairly priced.

Officially, their RRP is £69.95 a bottle, which is definitely on the expensive side. But the deal they’ve got on at the time of writing is a saving of $20, bringing it down to a much more affordable $49.95 a bottle.

If you buy three bottles to last three months, it’ll cost $95.95, saving $114. And if you buy six bottles, it’ll cost $139.70, saving you $280. You don’t actually save money by buying more – it still works out the same per bottle.

Whichever bundle you decide to go with, remember you have that 60-day money-back guarantee. That gives you more than enough time to tell whether or not it’s working for you. If for some reason it isn’t, you send all the bottles back for a full refund (partial refund if they don’t receive all the bottles back).

It’s a generous guarantee, and proves their confidence in their product.

My Experience With Brainol

I’m used to nootropics, and use them regularly, so I know what to expect. I was looking forward to this one, as it claims to cover all aspects of cognition – memory, focus, reduced stress, better concentration, and brain health.

I made sure I had a decent length of time without any other nootropics in my system, so I could identify any improvements (or lack of).

Dosage was simple enough, except that you should have it with a meal, and ideally separately – one AM and one PM. I prefer to take them all at once with water in the morning and be done with it, but went along with the rules.

The afternoons proved to be a pain, as predicted. At first, anyway. I did become used to it and got into the habit of taking one with my lunch; however, if you do forget like I did a couple of times, don’t take it later or the effects could impact your sleep routine.

One thing to note with nootropics is that you tend not to notice an immediate impact – they’re more of a slow burner effect, and you need to give it time. You don’t notice too much at the beginning, so don’t be disappointed – it’ll come.

I started noticing the biggest difference just after a week. I felt positive and motivated, with solid, stable energy levels. I didn’t get that afternoon crash, either – which was a noticeable relief. My afternoons were so much more enjoyable, and productive. Sometimes I can’t quite tell if my energy and mood has lifted because of the ingredients, or because I’m achieving more, and easily.

Indeed, my memory did appear to dig out answers faster as I wrote, or even spoke. As the weeks went on, my motivation continued for longer into the evenings, and I felt keener to get to the gym or go for a run. Each day seemed more fulfilled, and it felt good. I was getting more done in all aspects of my life, and I was doing it well.

Surprisingly, my motivation during workout routines improved significantly. Toward the end of the third week, I started feeling more alert and capable of handling the daily cognitive load without feeling worn out, indicating a conclusive improvement in my overall endurance. Even my workouts were hitting PBs.

Customer reviews and user testimonials say similar too, and it seems the majority are happy with the improvements noticed when they started taking Brainol.

Recommended Alternative

Noocube front of bottle

Brainol is a good choice of nootropic, but there are other good cognitive enhancement supplements you could choose. My favorite is NooCube. It’s got one of the smarted ingredients lists out there, with full transparency on dosages.

NooCube regularly reviews its own effectiveness too, and has made a couple of adjustments to better improve cognitive efficacy, and to make it more suitable for everyone.

For example, they took Oat Straw Extract out as it contains gluten, and replaced it with Panax Ginseng. Alpha GPC – a commonly used ingredient – contains soy, so they replaced this with the even better VitoCholine to make it more suitable, bioavailable, and allergen free.

They also upgraded their Biotin ingredient to D-Biotin, to make it plant-based.

It doesn’t include any caffeine, so this is a really good option for you if you want something completely free of it.

I always get excellent results from it, and they have a 60-day money back guarantee too. The only downfall is that it is slightly more expensive, but it is the creme de la creme of nootropics (and they currently have a flash sale).

Brainol Review: Final Verdict

I was really pleased with Brainol in this review. It’s a nootropic supplement with a quality blend of natural ingredients, and although results can vary, most people including myself saw improvements in all areas.

Brain health is a difficult one to judge with scientific interventions, but I definitely felt less stressed and panicked. I loved the feeling of an energized and driven yet calm mind, a feeling only a good-quality formula can achieve.

I didn’t need to use the money-back guarantee, but it gives me peace of mind, and some reassurance if you’re new to this product or nootropics entirely.

It’s worth giving a go to see how you respond to it – you’ll likely be very pleased. It’s priced fairly too, and more affordable than others. If you want to go premium, I’d go with Noocube, or perhaps Mind Vitality Focus, which is another one I love.

But for value for money and a safe, effective supplement, Brainol is a good option.
